Services
Who I work with
I specialize in helping individuals 18+ who are working through stress, anxiety, and trauma.
Therapy options
I offer both in-person and telemedicine appointments.
In-person sessions take place at the Inner Balance Therapy office in Cottonwood Heights.
Telemedicine visits take place through a secure and confidential portal.
Individual therapy sessions are 50 minutes in length.
EMDR therapy
I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy. EMDR is a form of therapy used to heal trauma and painful experiences. It aims to reduce symptoms of trauma by changing how memories are stored in your brain.

What to expect on your first visit
Our phone consultation is to get a sense of what your needs are and where I can help.
If I am a good fit for you, we will set up an initial intake appointment where I gather more information, determine your goals, and set a plan of how we can get there together.
Will health insurance pay for therapy?
Insurances accepted:
EMI Health
U of U Health Plans (Healthy Premier, Healthy Preferred)
Aetna (Excluding Aetna CVS)
Out-of-Network
If you are using out-of-network benefits, I am happy to provide you with a detailed receipt to help you seek reimbursement from your health insurance provider.
Reimbursement rates vary by each individual plan, and you must qualify for a mental health diagnosis in order to have your health insurance reimburse you for treatment.
Questions to ask your health insurance company:
What are my out-of-network mental health benefits?
Do I have a deductible? If so, what is covered after the deductible is met?
Do I require a pre-authorization for my out-of-network benefits?
